Honor does not yet have a 5G smartphone in China. However, this will change very soon. Honor president Zhao Ming recently confirmed that Honor V30 will be the brand’s first 5G smartphone. In addition, it was also confirmed that the Honor V30 arrives on November 2019.

Honor has not released an official release date for the V30, but since it will be released in November, the official announcement should arrive soon. However, Zhao also confirmed in a recent interview with Chinese media that the new model will support the Non-Stand Alone (NSA) and Stand Alone (SA) modes. In other words, they are prepared for the future.

The Honor V30 will arrive in two variants, the Honor V30 and the V30 Pro. Both models will probably have front cameras housed in a hole.

The Honor V30 will have an LCD screen with a hole that houses a single front camera, just like the Honor V20. There is no mention of the screen size or camera setup for selfies.

Meanwhile, the smartphone will have a battery capacity of 4000mAh, just like its predecessor, and also supports 22.5W SuperCharge fast charging technology. The Honor will also have an extra camera. That is, we have a triple camera configuration and the main sensor will have 60 megapixels. The specifications of the other two sensors are not mentioned.

The Honor V30 will be equipped with the 7nm Kirin 990 processor that powers the Huawei Mate 30 and the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.

The Honor V30 Pro will have an OLED screen with a hole for front dual cameras. The specifications of the two sensors have also been kept secret. Bringing the Honor V30 Pro to life will be the Kirin 990 5G processor.

The smartphone will also have a 60MP primary rear camera, but will be paired with 3 other sensors for a quad camera setup. The Pro model will have a 4200mAh battery with support for 40W SuperCharge, as well as the Mate 30 range. However, it will not have support for 27W wireless charging. Instead, it will support 15W wireless charging.

Although both smartphones have interesting specifications, they will have the same problems as the Mate 30 range – without Google services.
